Vecgulbene Manor
Vecgulbene Manor – the center complex is located in the Gulbene territory, it includes the Gulbene White Castle, Gulbene Red Castle, a manege, a farm complex, a palace park and Rudolf Park. In the immediate vicinity of the manor there are also other significant cultural monuments – the Gulbene Lutheran Church and the rectory, a monument to freedom fighters.
The manege, which used to be the largest closed manege in the Baltics where Baron Rudolf once cherished his trotters brought from the East, was equipped with a garrison hall, the largest in Gulbene at that time, where all ceremonial events and the first cinema screening took place in the 1920s and 1930s.
Currently, the manege of the manege offers guests a 4* hotel with historical furniture and original wall exposures, an exquisite restaurant with an outdoor terrace, and the opportunity to visit a SPA center with a jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath.
The manor complex is surrounded by the extensive Vecgulbene Castle landscape-style Castle Park, which reveals the Love and Coffee Hills, and small ponds with plantations of century-old trees, which still retain traces of the manor’s former luxury and beautiful love story.
