  Your tasting journey will then lead you to a coastal village, where as early as the 17th century fishermen caught lampreys in the Gauja River. The characteristic Vidzeme Coastal lamprey – Lampera fluviatilis. We will visit an old fishermen’s homestead that has been processing lampreys for generations, where we will taste special lamprey dishes.

The steak restaurant is a family-run business that raises beef cattle and ensures a complete, closed cycle – from field to table.
